How to choose the perfect Indian restaurant?

Every kind of food is becoming popular in every nation these days. this is the reason why people who love food are trying various cuisines which they can find in their reach. One such popular food is Indian food which is rich in spices, aromatic and flavorful because of all the authentic ingredients added to it. India is known for its huge diversity in culture and people, and this diversity has been quite stark in its food too. one can find a number of options to choose from on an Indian menu. Indian food Somerville comes in different categories like north Indian food, south Indian food, Gujarati delicacies, etc. each one of them has their own variety catering to the breakfast menu, lunch menu, and dinner menu.

Now that foodies are trying every type of food, it is no surprise that they are trying Indian food as well. However, to try authentic and true Indian food one need to find a true blue Indian restaurant who have rich yet well-chosen dishes to serve. There are some points that one to keep in mind while selecting an Indian restaurant, and they are mentioned below.

Traditional menu

Indian food should be true to be the origin and should have the same taste as I am served in India. Many places these days are serving Indian food with a lot of twists which ultimately leads to loss of real Indian taste. One need to search for a restaurant who have all the authentic dishes like dal tadka, paneer makhni, chicken tikka, butter chicken, etc. and also make sure that they serve it just like that without giving it any unnecessary fusion touch which may ruin the taste and make it taste like something else altogether. whether one is searching for lunch specials Somerville or dinner menu, one should look for a perfect menu first.

Good hospitality and ambiance

For Indians, hospitality is very important, and they like to go out of their way to make their guests feel at home. That is why one should select an Indian restaurant which offers good ambiance, good seating arrangements, perfect customer service with people who can help one through the menu. Make sure the staff's behavior is warm and helpful so that they can clear out the guest's doubts regarding the menu and dishes with patience and courteousness. However, most of the Indian restaurants do offer good hospitality but always keep it in the checklist while selecting a good one.

Authentic taste

Indian food is known for its authentic taste because of its rich mix of spices and ingredients. The restaurant should offer food with real ingredients with proper cooking procedure. Now that Indian food can be quite difficult to cook at times, one needs to look for a place who knows what they rae doing. If the food is good then nothing else should matter. Some of the best sign of good food is well cooked Indian bread, well cooked aromatic rice, thick and rich gravy and well-done chicken or meat.

Finding a good Indian restaurant is not a problem these days, but finding a restaurant serving real Indian food can be a bit of hard work. however if one sees through these points then the selection process will be easy.

The House of Kebab

The kebab was, at the time, just meat sprinkled with salt, which was then barbecued and gobbled up by this army on the move. But soon it caught the fancy of Indian chefs. And by their very capable hands, the kebab was perfected into a sublime art. They choose the finest meats, created an amazing array of marinades in which these meats were transformed into savory goodness. Cooking was now also improved.

Testimonials

Best Naan that I have ever had. Food was kick ass. 20-25 min walk from Porter or Davis square. Worth the walk. We even got extra rice for free ( didn't ask for it, they just gave it because they saw that we were low!). Rice does come with the curry. Go!

This was the best Indian food I've had this year. It's fresh and freshly made and it's December. Come without expectations for service and get the garlic naan. The food comes to you as it comes. It's your job to enjoy it.

Excellent food and service. Very fresh and cooked to order--I have dined only for dinner so far. Best Indian food I have had in 30 years. Very generous portions. I plan to eat here regularly. The breads are superb. The vegetable biryani is filled with fresh vegetables and comes with delicious raita, yogurt. Can't wait to return this coming week. Bravo!!
